Always have great results from Taylor's bulbs even though sometimes I'm a bit tardy in getting them into the ground or pots.

Contacted Taylors in June for information about their horseradish thongs and, in particular, about my purchase of two packets from a garden centre fairly late in April. Found that thongs were quite desiccated when planted and have shown no sign of life. Very kind member of staff explained thongs are harvested and sent to garden centres January/February for planting February/March. Whilst the garden centre should have removed the thongs from sale or reimbursed me, I was delighted when Taylor's undertook to send me fresh thongs next February, an action which speaks highly of their approach customer service.

I purchased some lily bulbs back in early May and despite lots of TLC neither of the 3 bulbs (expensive at £5 each) has germinated.
Wrote to them over a month ago when they advised that as the bulbs are slow germinating I should give them a few more weeks.
It is now almost the end of July.
Neither have the bulbs grown nor have the company bothered to reply to my email.
Extremely poor product and customer service.
I have previously found that other pre-packed bulbs from Taylors have been in poor condition when the package was opened but the garden centre took them back.
This time it is past that time but I expected some response from Taylors.

Very poor customer service. Contents of packages contained one item instead of two. Missing items dispatched by Taylors, one package instead of two. I informed customer service that as the season was getting late for planting these items could I have a refund. This was agreed, one week later the items turned up. No refund. Unfortunately this is the sort of service that is becoming “ normal “ It leaves a very dissatisfied customer.

Bought several bags of Dahlia tubers from one Irish garden centres, i am dismayed by the size of the tubers. Most of them are smaller than my little finger, they are in a small clump, like a little crab. Some of tubers are broken from the neck, they are not good anymore.I guess those tubers are from seeds and doubt this tubers are going to be flowery in this year. Did they treat Irish customers fairly? I will update this review in August.

I ordered various spring bulbs from Taylor's via a different internet shop and I must say that the bulbs arrived really quickly and were packaged absolutely perfectly. Now I have found Taylor's own online site I shall purchase direct from them again. Overall very pleased and would highly recommend them to anyone.
Thanks to all at Taylor's.
